This post is short and sweet and to the point! I am so excited about a new online website called Epic–Books for Kids. If you love Netflix, love to read to your kids, love to save money and yer enjoy new and exciting books, then this is the post for you! Don’t get me wrong, I will still purchase books for my kids, but this is yet another way we can read together. This is a monthly subscription with a $5.00 monthly fee.
Above is what my dashboard looks like right now. Yes, we did enjoy Goodnight Baby Bear! You simply click on a book and read aloud…click the page to turn it back and forth or enjoy some of the books with the read to me option (for those days/nights that you can barely function but know you need to get some reading time in with the kids–hey, it takes a village to raise children, let yourself have a helping hand when you need one!).
I don’t know about you, but my kids are hard on books. So many of my most beloved have been colored in, have pages missing, or are well…have sticky pages that have been littered with ? This is a great affordable option for our family.
